Diploma in Islamic Studies

Overview

The Diploma in Islamic Studies is a specialised curriculum designed to impart foundational knowledge of Islam and its related disciplines to students.

The program encompasses the core sciences of Islamic theology, jurisprudence, purification, Hadith, exegesis, and Islamic history. The curriculum is structured to enhance students' competency and proficiency in comprehending Islam and its key sciences.

Through this program, students acquire the necessary knowledge to practise their religion and share it with others, such as their family members and colleagues.

Structure

The Diploma in Islamic Studies is a three-year, part-time program that adheres to an academic calendar, commencing in September and ending in July. The program is divided into three terms: the first term from September to December, the second from January to Ramadan, and the third from post-Ramadan to July.

Classes are conducted entirely online through our e-learning portal, to which students are granted access upon registration.

Classes are held two days per week, with each class session lasting for two hours, for a total of four hours per week. In addition to the scheduled contact hours, students are expected to allocate a minimum of 2-4 hours per week to preparation and revision.

Entry Requirements

The requirements for entry in the program are:
• Good GCSE Results
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• All applicants must be over 16 years of age
• Good references

Fees and Finance

The tuition fee for each academic year is £600. Once committed to the course, the students can either pay one lump sum or over three instalments, paid termly.
