Overview

The Advanced Diploma in Traditional Arabic and Islamic Sciences is a rigorous program that has been meticulously designed to build upon the foundation
established in the diploma program.

The program delves into the intricacies of various Islamic disciplines, utilising classical texts written in Arabic as the primary means of instruction. The curriculum is structured to develop students' competence and proficiency in the study of classical texts, allowing them to gain a comprehensive understanding of all major Islamic sciences.

This program will teach students the necessary skills and knowledge to engage in specialised areas within these disciplines.

Structure

The Advanced Diploma in Traditional Arabic and Islamic Sciences is a comprehensive, two-year full-time program that runs on an academic calendar, commencing in September and concluding in July, and is divided into three distinct terms. The first term runs from September to December, the second term runs from January to Ramadan, and the third term runs post Ramadan to July.

The program's curriculum is designed to provide students with an intense learning experience, with classes held on a daily basis from Monday to Thursday, from 10am to 2pm. In addition to the scheduled contact hours, students are expected to devote a minimum of 10-12 hours per week to preparation and revision.

The requirements for entry in the program are:
• Good GCSEs or their equivalent
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• All applicants must be over 16 years of age

Applicants are expected to be intellectually curious, hardworking, and committed to the aims of the College.

The tuition fee for Year One is £595 for the full year, applicable to both on-site campus students and those studying online or on-demand.

For Year Two and Year Three, the fee is £1,200 per year for all students, regardless of study mode.

Once enrolled, you may choose to pay the fee in full or in three termly instalments.
